Kevin Berkins, a Master Butcher, trained as a butcher in the family business from the age of 14. After leaving the family business at 19 Kevin owned numerous butchers shops in the Burnley & Pendle area. The purchase of Fence Gate in 1982 was a natural progression after suppling the sector for numerous years. The beautiful 18th century property was lovingly extended and modernised over the years. The most recent addition to Fence Gate is Fence Gate Lodge, a luxurious 24 bedroom hotel with an exclusive function room which now completes the guest experience for corporate and leisure guests alike. Kevin’s attention to detail can be recognised throughout the properties.
Keeley Beaumont (Kevin’s Daughter) completed her Business Management degree at Leeds University.
